Breaking: Offset Seeks Spousal Support from Cardi B Amid Divorce Proceedings

Firstsitenews-American rapper Offset has filed a request for spousal support from his estranged wife, Cardi B, as their divorce continues to unfold, according to newly filed court documents.

The Migos star submitted an amended response to Cardi B’s original divorce petition, which she filed in August 2024 at the Bergen County Superior Court in New Jersey. In this latest filing, Offset is now seeking an unspecified amount of alimony.

Aside from the new financial demand, the remainder of the filing reportedly remains unchanged. Neither Offset nor Cardi B’s representatives have issued public statements regarding the development.

Cardi B initially filed for divorce after six years of marriage, requesting primary custody of their two children 5-year-old Kulture and 2-year-old Wave while she was pregnant with their third child. At the time, her spokesperson described the separation as amicable, stating it was “not based on any one particular incident” but had been “a long time coming.”

However, the situation has since grown tense. In December 2024, the couple exchanged harsh words on social media. Offset accused Cardi of being distracted by other men, stating she "look[ed] like the hoe" and was "focus[ed] on d—." Cardi quickly fired back, defending herself by saying, “So dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about d—?? You sound like a dummy,” and urged him to “sign the papers TODAY.”

By February, Offset had officially responded to the divorce filing, requesting joint custody of their children and designating Cardi B’s home as their primary residence.
