This comes in response to Don Jazzy’s recent revelation, in which he stated that he finds it difficult to remain sexually committed to just one woman. The statement, which sparked widespread debate online, prompted Uriel to offer her perspective during an episode of the Outside The Box podcast.
Uriel, who spoke with deep admiration for the music mogul, suggested that Don Jazzy’s inability to commit may stem from the types of women he typically associates with. She believes that a change in the kind of women he dates could potentially shift his perspective on monogamy.
“I love Don Jazzy he’s an amazing man, and I genuinely admire him. But when he said he can’t be sexually committed to one woman, I think it has a lot to do with the kind of women he dates,” Uriel said. “If I had the chance to sit with him, I would advise him to explore a different type of woman. Maybe then he’d find someone who could change that narrative for him.”
Uriel went on to criticize a prevailing trend she sees among many Nigerian men choosing partners based solely on physical appearance rather than character or intellectual compatibility.
“Many Nigerian men don’t date for substance; they date for what they see physically on the outside,” she added. “That’s a major reason why some men struggle with staying faithful. If you're only attracted to a woman's looks, it’s easy to find someone who looks even better. But if you're drawn to her mindset, her values, and her intellect, that’s something deeper something lasting.”
