Burna Boy Kicks Off New Album Era with 'Tatata' Featuring Travis Scott

Firstsitenews-Grammy-winning Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has launched his highly anticipated eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, with the release of a sizzling new single titled "Tatata", featuring American rap heavyweight Travis Scott.

Blending high-energy Brazilian funk with Nigerian Pidgin and a slick pop-rap delivery, Tatata offers a dynamic, genre-bending sound that highlights Burna Boy’s trademark versatility. The track also references controversial Equatorial Guinean politician Baltasar Engonga, who previously made headlines for his scandalous collection of explicit tapes an allusion that adds a provocative edge to the song’s lyrics.

Travis Scott brings his signature swagger to the track, complementing Burna Boy with a gritty verse that intensifies the track’s bold narrative.

This release follows Burna Boy's recent reggae-infused single Sweet Love, which, along with the viral hit Bundle by Bundle now boasting over 24 million streams on Spotify and 8.5 million views on YouTube is building serious momentum for the album.

Burna Boy also recently collaborated with French-Haitian star Joé Dwèt Filé on the 4 Kampé remix, blending Afrobeats with Haitian Kompa to create a global crossover anthem.

In addition to his studio successes, Burna Boy continues to make history on stage. He became the first African artist to headline the legendary Stade de France, an achievement marked by his cover feature on Billboard France. He later followed this with a sold-out show at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena, the largest indoor arena in the UK.

With Tatata, Burna Boy continues to set the tone for a global takeover, cementing his place as a boundary-pushing force in contemporary music.
