Firstsitenews-Lagos, Nigeria – May 29, 2025 – Fidelity Bank Plc, one of Africa’s leading financial institutions, is gearing up to host the third edition of its flagship market access initiative, the Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect (FITCC) Expo. Scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20, 2025, the event will be held at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, Georgia, USA.
This year’s edition marks a strategic collaboration with Amplify Africa, the organizers of AFRICON—the premier African diaspora business and cultural summit in the U.S.—as part of Fidelity’s mission to strengthen transatlantic and diaspora business connections. The partnership aims to unite platforms focused on expanding African business visibility and access to global opportunities.
“Since launching the first edition in 2022, FITCC has grown from a platform showcasing Nigeria’s non-oil exports into a full-fledged global business gateway, unlocking the country’s vast commercial potential,” said Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, OON, Managing Director and CEO of Fidelity Bank Plc.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting economic growth, creative industries, and international trade, we are excited to announce that the third edition of FITCC will take place in Atlanta. Our goal remains to empower Nigerian businesses by enhancing their access to global markets,” she added.
Building on the remarkable success of the previous editions in London and Houston, which together generated a deal pipeline of over $500 million, FITCC Atlanta 2025 is expected to draw more than 100 Nigerian exporters alongside U.S.-based buyers, investors, policy makers, and diaspora-driven business groups.
This year’s expo will place a spotlight on key sectors including agriculture, packaged consumer goods, energy transition minerals, fashion, beauty, and the creative economy. Attendees can look forward to a dynamic lineup of activities such as business exhibitions, B2B matchmaking sessions, policy discussions, diaspora investment forums, and specialized workshops—all designed to drive market access and economic growth.
More than 3,000 participants are anticipated to attend, including development finance institutions, chambers of commerce, trade promotion agencies, and multinational firms. The event aligns with ongoing efforts to deepen U.S.–Nigeria trade relations under emerging bilateral frameworks.
