Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé has been named the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner, securing football’s most prestigious individual accolade at the glittering ceremony in Paris on Monday night.
The French winger was recognised for his exceptional 2024/25 campaign, during which he netted 35 goals and registered 16 assists across all competitions.
Dembélé played a decisive role in PSG’s historic season, guiding the club to its first-ever UEFA Champions League triumph, alongside reclaiming the Ligue 1 title and lifting the Coupe de France.
The 28-year-old edged out Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal and other leading nominees to clinch the award, a crowning achievement that comes after years of battling injuries and career setbacks.
His win not only marks a personal milestone but also highlights PSG’s growing global dominance, with the Parisian giants sweeping major trophies in 2025 and featuring heavily in the Ballon d’Or Team of the Year.
