Dollar to Naira Black Market Rate Today, Thursday, September 11, 2025





The Nigerian naira continued its fluctuations against the US dollar on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, as traders in the parallel market, popularly known as the black market (Aboki fx), offered different rates across major cities.


According to Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos, the dollar was bought at ₦1,530 and sold at ₦1,510 in the parallel market.


Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reiterated that it does not recognize the black market, urging individuals and businesses to conduct all foreign exchange transactions through official channels such as commercial banks.


At the CBN’s official window, the dollar traded between ₦1,498 and ₦1,507 on Wednesday.
