FIFA has officially announced the launch of its multi-phase ticket sales for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with prices for group-stage matches starting at $60 and final match tickets reaching as high as $6,710.
The global football governing body revealed on Wednesday that ticket prices will vary depending on demand, and fans will have the option to purchase single-match tickets, venue-specific passes, or team-specific packages.
The 2026 edition will be the largest in the tournament’s history, featuring 48 teams competing across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Presale and Phased Ticketing
Fans using a Visa card can register for a FIFA ID on the official website to participate in a presale draw scheduled between September 10 and 19. Successful applicants will be able to apply for tickets starting October 1.
Ticket sales will be limited to four tickets per person per match, with an overall maximum of 40 tickets per individual throughout the tournament.
FIFA also outlined the following sales phases:
Phase Two: Registration runs from October 27–31, with sales opening from mid-November to early December 2025.
Phase Three: Begins after the official tournament draw in Washington on December 5, allowing fans to apply for tickets to specific matches.
Final Phase: Closer to kick-off, remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additional Options for Fans
To enhance the fan experience, FIFA plans to introduce supporter tickets for fans wishing to sit among fellow supporters of their chosen team, as well as conditional supporter tickets that guarantee a seat if a team advances to the knockout rounds.
In addition, FIFA will launch an official resale platform to allow fans to safely buy and sell tickets.
