Firstsitenews- Popular businessman and crypto investor, Gaius Chibueze, widely known as the ‘Bitcoin Chief,’ has shared a fresh update on Mmesoma Ejikeme, the Anambra State student who was at the center of the 2023 UTME result falsification saga.
Mmesoma drew national attention last year after being accused of manipulating her UTME score—an allegation that was later confirmed through an official investigation.
In the heat of the controversy, Chibueze awarded her a scholarship, a move that earned him widespread praise.
In a recent post on Facebook, he addressed growing public curiosity about Mmesoma's current situation, especially as new concerns about UTME result inconsistencies emerge.
Chibueze revealed that he supported Mmesoma with a N30,000 monthly stipend over eight months, funded her international passport and other logistics, and facilitated her university admission process.
She secured an admission offer from a university in Texas, USA, but was denied a visa. Subsequently, she applied to a Canadian institution and completed her IELTS but was not granted admission.
In addition to educational support, Chibueze extended financial help to her family—donating N1 million to her father for his music venture and offering monetary assistance to her mother during tough times.
He also bought Mmesoma a laptop, enrolled her in coding classes, provided startup funds for a small business, and gifted her a new phone.
Thanks to the resources and training, Mmesoma reportedly generated a profit of $3,000 from her business efforts, which was later used to open a shop for her mother.
