Firstsitenews-Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has announced that the commission has received expressions of interest from 110 associations seeking to be registered as political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Yakubu made this known on Wednesday during INEC’s second quarterly consultative meeting with media executives in Abuja.
