Firstsitenews-Nigerian music heavyweights Davido and Shallipopi thrilled fans on the electrifying opening night of the 2025 Afro Nation Festival in Portugal.
The annual three-day festival, which kicked off Wednesday night in Portimão, celebrates the richness of African music and culture.
Shallipopi stole the spotlight with a powerful performance of his hit track Lahoo, joined on stage by his siblings and fellow artistes. Davido, headlining the night, delivered fan favorites including If, Fall, Dami Duro, and Fia, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Afro Nation’s official handle shared clips from the night, hailing Davido as “001” for bringing unmatched energy to the festival and praising Shallipopi for “scattering Portimão.”
Tems is set to grace the stage Thursday night, while Burna Boy, Kamo Mphela, Booba, and Dexta Daps will bring the festival to a thrilling close on Friday.
